Growing With Danny D

Disc Golf World Wide is a project commited to the growth of disc golf at an international level. From the redwoods of California to the rice fields of Thailand, DGWW is putting disc in everyones hands.

DGWW was first created on a dream of growing this sport well beyond the confines of the USA. It started simple and continues simple to this day, grow the sport. Within the Asian community DGWW has worked with companies, sponsors and simply fellow disc golfers to put a disc into the hands of as many people around the world. Their first location started with Chiang Mai on a plot of land that wasn’t being used. This all started with fellow disc golfer, Danny D.

The idea of growing the sport was always a dream, but at the beginning moments it was simply more about finding a place to huck some plastic. This once small idea over the next couple years would grow into the project of DGWW. With local Chiang Mai schools reaching out and local Thais showing up to play, it was obvious that he wasn’t alone in this love for a sport that was so foreign to locals.

Chiang Mai disc golf

Starting with one of our first international disc golf courses, Chiang Mai can not be missed. Originally started as a pop up  nine hole course, this course has now grown into a fouteen hole large sclae course. Not to mention it’s the first of it’s kind in this scale within Chiang Mai. With its trees for difficulty, and a little shade, plus the views of local cows grazing by, this course cant be missed!

What They’re Saying

Cm Course Reviews

A great up-and-coming course that has the added bonus of raising local awareness of disc golf in the broader community. 12 holes, mostly par 3, in pretty consistent moderate woods/brush. The course designer Danny has a true passion for the sport and some exciting plans for the future of disc golf in Chiang Mai. I had a great time playing the course and enjoyed lunch at the floating restaurant right next door.

Matt Scheff

Super stoked to find a discgolf course where we were visiting. Fun course with flat terrain and good technical holes. 12 holes for now with two 400+ foot holes. Very good restaurant where you can get a beer and water, lunch after.

Not only was this course an absolutely great play, but but also Danny has some real love for the game. You can tell this course has grown from a pure passion of growing the sport. When (not if) you play this course support the amazing restaurant next to the course. It’s an authentic place to eat and the green curry was to die for! I see great things in the future for this place!
